1. Never never forget about your position in the office as long as you stay inside the building.
2. Never give any chance or never make any fun with anybody who is not in your ranks, this especially holds good for other department peers.
3. Never allow them to tease you or make fun of you or give you nick names in front of your team or others for that matter, this will tarnish your image among your peers, most importantly among your team.
4. Remember you are leading a team, no matter how small it is, you are always sought by them for each and every matter, so make sure that you always maintain that pride.
5. When you happen to interact with other department peers, who are not in your RANK, make sure that you maintain a cordial "professional gap." Always remember that one day you may need to lead the whole group, at that time let us not give anybody a chance to recall how you behaved while you were in your current rank. So be professional in your approach when you talk with them.
